Amrit Home Healthcare LLC continues to fight against COVID-19 in accordance with the guidance and standards set by the Centers for Disease Control Prevention and the World Health Organization. As the coronavirus disease is still in our midst and continues to mutate into a more contagious virus, healthcare organizations have been able to create a vaccine that will help our bodies develop immunity to the virus that causes COVID-19 without us having to get the illness.
According to the CDC, some side effects, such as fever or fatigue, are normal signs that your body is building protection against COVID-19. It should go away in a few days, though.
And we are glad to announce that we at Amrit Home Healthcare LLC offer the COVID-19 vaccine to our employees. With this, we are able to protect our staff members as well as our clients against coronavirus.
We also encourage you and your family to continue protecting yourself and others from the virus. Here are some ways you can do:
- Wear a face mask to prevent acquiring droplets of saliva from infected people.
- Stay at least six feet from others, especially when going out to buy necessities and run important errands.
- Avoid being in contact with people that you don’t live with to limit your exposure to COVID-19.
- Stay home as much as possible.
- Avoid poorly ventilated areas. Make sure that the places you go receive as much fresh air as possible.
- Wash your hands with antibacterial soap and clean water for at least 20 seconds, especially before and after eating, preparing food, touching your face, using the restroom, leaving a public place, handling your mask, changing a diaper, caring for a sick loved one, petting, and blowing your nose, coughing, and sneezing.
- Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze with bent elbows or tissue. Then, throw the tissue properly immediately after use.
At Amrit Home Healthcare LLC, we follow the same precautionary measures within our premises and during our time of service with our clients.
